School of Fashion Design Pre-college Program in Fashion Design
Our program, specifically for high school students, provides an introduction to the fashion design process, from conception to garment completion. Students will learn:
How to take measurements
The safe and correct operation of an industrial sewing machine
Textiles and materials sourcing
Design development
Pattern manipulation
Sewing and garment construction skills
Design theory
Fashion terminology
Inspiration sourcing
Fashion garment sketching
